. Gloucestershire CCG commissioned a video about their local social prescribing services
Members of the Family Action group in Hackney describe social prescription and how it makes a difference for families that come to the project.
UWE's Richard Kimberlee talks about social prescribing, which connects people to projects and activities that will support their mental health. Increasingly, GPs are seeing patients with social isolation and other mental health issues, rather than physical conditions, which a GP can't traditionally address: this is where social prescribing comes in, which offers a non-medical alternative to address wellbeing issues. This talk is part of the health strand of the Festival of the Future City, held on 17 November 2015
